Covid-19

I take your health and safety very seriously.

Client meetings will be held over the phone or using videoconferencing whenever possible, to reduce opportunities for transmitting illness.

CMU's Centre for Resilience, the coworking office where I meet with clients in person, has extensive covid-19 protocols in place: all workers and visitors in the CMU premises are required to show proof of vaccination, wear masks, maintain a 2-metre distance from others, and sanitize their hands when entering and leaving the space. This is CMU policy so I do not have authority to make any exceptions.

All business areas, surfaces and washrooms are frequently sanitized. Fortunately, Vanessa Friesen Law is permitted to remain open for business during the covid-19 pandemic, as legal services are considered essential.

I ask that you bring proof of vaccination and wear a mask when you attend your appointment with me. Please call to reschedule if you are feeling ill.

Contact me now for legal help.

PLEASE NOTE: when first contacting me it is important that you only provide your name, contact information, and the area of law in which you need assistance. This helps me to avoid possible conflicts of interest. Please do not provide details of your claim or documents unless you are asked to do so.

As well, I do not work in wills and estates or in family law, so I do not notarize wills, powers of attorney, or family law documents.
